I’m a wedding and lifestyle photographer based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I believe photography is more than just taking a photo-it’s about preserving emotions, telling stories, and creating timeless connections. My company ethos is built on authenticity, creativity, and a commitment to excellence, ensuring every shot reflects the essence of the moment and the story before me. I value inclusivity and diversity, embracing the unique beauty of every individual, event, and brand I work with. With a passion for innovation and an eye for detail, I strive to craft visually stunning imagery that resonates deeply. At my core, I am a storyteller, dedicated to transforming fleeting moments into lasting memories.

HI, I’M KASSANDRA

MY BACKGROUND

My love for the camera and storytelling began with filmmaking at age 10. I grew up making short films nearly every weekend and one day I blinked and I was in college. I wasn’t so sure if I should get the safe degree or pursue my passions….but if you know me you know I’m very determined…so film degree it was!! Cinematography became my first love and to this day I work full time as a videographer and take on DP roles when they come. Following my studies, I traveled to New York City, where I worked alongside one of my favorite Cinematographers on the Hulu series Monsterland (2020). My career then led me to Los Angeles, where I expanded my expertise as an Assistant Camera on various sets and also gained valuable experience as a Production Assistant. Then my career took me back to Arizona where I worked for a fashion apparel company! I’m pretty proud with myself that I stuck with my passion and saw it through.

WHY PHOTOGRAPHY?

My love for photography began shortly after my love for filmmaking, but it started on the fashion side of things. My sister took up modeling and I was her photographer. We were the perfect duo, and we began to realize that we were pretty good at this whole thing!

I’ve been featured in various publications such as Imirage Magazine, MALVIE, MOB, and Artells. Additionally, I also shot at LA Fashion Week furthing my connections and exploring my artistic style.

I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with international photographers, renowned magazines, and influential figures within the filmmaking community. And I am inspired by the opportunities that allow me to connect with new people and explore new places.

WHY WEDDINGS?

You want the honest truth? I never wanted to photograph weddings, it TERRIFIED me! No do-overs, no second chances..talk about pressure! But then someone asked me to photograph their wedding, and without hesitation, I said yes. (To this day, I still can't believe I did!) I shot my first wedding in 2023 and….I fell in love. Being able to photograph someones happiest day is a true honor, and I don’t take it lightly. I found myself deeply dedicated to putting smiles on clients faces and preserving these precious moments through my art. Being a part of their story and making friends through it is truly a gift.
